As owners and families of Iowa's Youth Activities Businesses such as Dance Studios, Gymnastics Centers and similar entities we are supportive of all of the Governor's efforts to reduce the spread of COVID 19 in our state in this difficult period.

The COVID-19 virus has threatened the health and well-being of the dance community across the nation and around the world. Recently, there has been virus transmission in the DC, Maryland & Virginia (DMV) dance community, despite the vast majority of community leaders recognizing the inherent risk of partner dancing and refraining from hosting any events. 

As people of Reno County, we are gravely concerned about the skyrocketing number of COVID-19 deaths, hospitalizations, and positive cases. This is no longer a challenge looming on the horizon. It is an urgent community crisis.
